Introducing Madelyn!

Sweet Madelyn came to us from death row and is a shih tzu/bichon mix. Her shivering in the video the shelter posted online broke out hearts, and we knew we had to get her. Madelyn appeared paralyzed in the video and had minimal use of her back legs when she came to us. After a visit to vet it was determined that the cause of this was that she had a bladder infection that had been left untreated long enough it caused paralysis. Luckily, the damage has been somewhat reversible and she can walk and even trot now (she is 15 years old after all!). She LOVES her foster dad, hair dryers after a bath, and barking at the other dogs when they are eating (even if she doesn't want it). She's been with us a few months now and shows no signs of slowing down. Madelyn has an amazing monthly sponsor that sends $100/month for her (and other seniors in need)! We GREATLY appreciate  this sponsorship!! Madelyn is not available for adoption because she is a hospice foster.
